20 initiatives from Brazil, Colombia and Peru are leading climate adaptation through regenerative agriculture in the Amazon with InNature Lab 2025
CAF, Trafigura Foundation and Latimpacto are excited to announce the 20 initiatives selected to be part of InNature Lab 2025, the regional platform that accelerates nature-based solutions to strengthen climate resilience in the Amazon of Brazil, Colombia and Peru.
These organizations were chosen after a rigorous process led by a multi-sector Advisory Committee made up of leading figures in impact investing, sustainability, innovation in the face of climate change and territorial knowledge.
The selected proposals stand out for their:
- Level of innovation: they are nature-based solutions, with regenerative and transformative approaches, to the challenges of the territory.
- Territorial relevance and its connection with the local Amazonian context, as well as the active integration of communities and knowledge of the territory.
- Impact and scalability and capacity to generate measurable, sustainable and replicable results in other Amazonian contexts.
- Market vision and technical and financial feasibility of each initiative, as well as its long-term sustainability potential and articulation with productive ecosystems.
These 20 initiatives will receive strategic support for two months to help them scale their impact. They will also participate in a Demo Day in front of strategic partners, investors, and funders within the ecosystem.
From this cohort, six initiatives will be selected to attend an in-person bootcamp in the territory, and four of them will be able to access financial support of up to $20,000 USD to boost the implementation of their solutions.
This first edition of InNature Lab establishes a firm commitment to promoting nature-based solutions generated from and for local communities, focusing on resilient and regenerative agriculture. This inaugural cohort will demonstrate that by connecting communities, ancestral knowledge, science, and innovation, we can address the most urgent climate challenges in one of the planet's most important biomes. Future editions will thus reach more countries and related territories in the Amazon to contribute to the resilience and adaptation to climate change of local communities.
