A culturally aware Mexico

State: Puebla

Women-led organization that promotes environmental education through art. Its festival connects survivors, art, and activism.

They promote community well-being through art, literature, and environmental education. They support rural and indigenous communities with workshops, residencies, and their traveling laboratory "Create and Conserve," which fosters environmental awareness and care for the land.

From Cansahcab, identity and community are strengthened through music, the Jarana, and the work of artisan women. With roots in Mayan culture, they articulate art and nature to drive environmental justice and a sustainable local economy.

Community cultural organization that drives processes of care, memory, and social justice through participatory methodologies. Its initiative "Polinizadoras del Barrio" (Neighborhood Pollinators) integrates community art, ecology, and food sovereignty from the territory.
