Latimpacto celebrates COP16 designation in Latin America!

We are very excited about the designation of Cali, Colombia, as the host country for the next Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP16). As one of the megadiverse countries in the region, this designation has a significant impact on Colombia and the entire region.

This COP 16 will monitor the commitments of the Global Biodiversity Framework and revive the conversation on how to advance resources for monitoring this framework and, among other things, also achieve greater mobilization of impact capital for the conservation, restoration, and sustainable use of natural capital, so important for the well-being of humanity.

At Latimpacto, we are committed to fostering a message of unity and collaboration across the capital spectrum, with the goal of engaging impact organizations, especially Latin American investors and donors, in biodiversity and nature conservation work in ways that align and intersect with their interests.

In addition, we will strive to act as multipliers so that our members who carry out exemplary work on climate and conservation issues can promote, highlight, and share their expertise and impact.

We are committed to raising the profile of Colombia and Latin America. We extend a warm welcome to Cali, the "Branch of Heaven"!
