Latimpacto, in partnership with IBM, is leading the "Hola IA" program, an initiative focused on promoting digital equity, technological literacy, and the development of future skills through free training in artificial intelligence (AI).

In this phase of the program, a call for proposals is open to implementing organizations in Colombia and Mexico, with the capacity to coordinate, disseminate, promote, raise awareness, and support the training of 10,000 people through a learning path designed by IBM and Latimpacto via the IBM platform. IBM SkillsBuild which already has more than 16 million people hooked worldwide, including students, teachers, and adults over 18 years of age.

The 5 selected organizations will receive a donation of USD 10,000, conditioned on the fulfillment of participation and engagement goals, as well as the completion of the training path.

Objective of the Call

Select allied organizations in Colombia and Mexico that have the experience, territorial reach, and operational capabilities to:

  • Mobilize, accompany, and follow up with 10,000 adults (over 18 years old at the start of the program)
  • Facilitate access and completion of the "Hello AI" learning path on the IBM SkillsBuild platform, which includes: Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Literacy, AI Literacy, and AI in Football. 
  • Contribute to closing digital divides in vulnerable communities

What does the call for applications grant?

The organizations selected under this call will receive the following benefits:

  • Grant for results – up to USD $10,000 per organization
  • Technical and operational support
  • Institutional Training and Strengthening
  • Digital Credentials in AI
  • Visibility and positioning

Eligible Organizations

Applications are open to:

  • NGOs, foundations, civil associations
  • Social enterprises or impact organizations
  • Chambers of commerce, consortia, or business networks
  • Private companies with social responsibility programs or community training initiatives
