Carolina Suárez Visbal CEO
Carolina has more than 24 years of professional life, with a background in law with her LLM in international business law. Of these years, 18 years dedicated to working in private social investment and philanthropy. Currently, as a passionate Latin American, she is the CEO of Latimpacto, the Latin American network that promotes a more strategic deployment of impact-driven capital.

She is convinced of the opportunities that Latin America offers and is committed to fostering collaborations and new ways of generating impact to achieve a more equitable society and a more sustainable planet.

Carolina has extensive experience in the fields of private social investment and philanthropy, where she has played a strategic role in the international arena promoting strategic transformations through knowledge sharing and alliance building. Prior to leading Latimpacto, she was a senior advisor at the International Venture PManthropy Center (IVPC), where she co-directed and designed the strategy for the creation of what is now Latimpacto, based on the success of the Impact Network (EVPA) and the Asian Venture Philanthropy Association (APVN). Prior to that, she co-founded the Association of Venture Foundations, where she was a director for the first 10 years (2008-2018).

Currently, he is also a member of the Editorial Committee of Alliance Magazine, the board of directors of the NAB of Colombia, the IC Foundation and the Alphamundi Foundation.

She is a lawyer from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and has an LLM in International Business Law from Bond University in Australia in 2002. She lives in Bogotá and speaks English, Spanish and is taking Portuguese classes.
