Coherence between corporate impact agendas allows companies to accelerate their transformation, and this implies a connection between the business and its impact strategies.
Companies are increasingly seeking to be more strategic in determining their investments to generate impact from a comprehensive perspective of ESG, impact investing (including corporate venturing), and philanthropic initiatives. Therefore, there is no doubt that corporate impact actors are key to the philanthropy and impact ecosystem.
However, there are still huge gaps in strengthening corporate strategies and moving beyond traditional paths to maximize the impact they can create.
For this reason, at Latimpacto, through our Corporate Impact Initiative, responding to the needs of regional stakeholders and leveraging the lessons learned from the successful experiences of our sister networks in Europe (EVPA) and Asia (AVPN) on this path, we are promoting effective ways to foster social impact through the strategic use of corporate resources.
In this Corporate Impact Peer-to-Peer Program, we take a comprehensive look at the Capital Continuum, beyond philanthropic practice and standards and reporting. We seek to strengthen impact strategies that align with the corporate purpose in a coherent and comprehensive manner to deploy resources more efficiently.
The Program aims to support corporate leaders and their Corporate Impact Vehicles (CIVs) - foundations, funds, accelerators, sustainability, CSR, and innovation departments - in strengthening their impact strategies based on the business models and specificities of each, understanding the local context and needs of the different markets in which they operate. All of this through
- Peer learning: Exchanging learning, best practices, and action plans among peers.
- Sharing and Visibility: Connect with a group of corporate peers and impact vehicle executives.
- Knowledge: Design and build your own route with support and access to the most innovative knowledge materials and practices.
- Comprehensive view: Close the gaps and understand the potential for coordination between the corporation and its corporate impact vehicles to maximize the value it delivers to its stakeholders.
Our knowledge and connection methodologies seek to address, through conversations and practical workshops with speakers from a comprehensive, international perspective focused on Latin America, the steps that will enable:
The Program is a cycle of learning, connection, and visibility for our corporate members and organizations that wish to be part of Latimpacto. It's just the beginning of a continuous path of knowledge that we've been developing for a long time at Latimpacto, with the regional perspective and experience of our sister networks in Europe (EVPA) and Asia (AVPN).
