Latimpacto empowers Latin America at the European Impact Investing Roadshow organized by AlphaMundi

Latimpacto participated in the European Roadshow 2025co-organized with AlphaMundi Group and Sonen Capital a strategic tour of five European cities (London, Zurich, Geneva, Amsterdam and Madrid), with the aim of strengthening collaboration between Europe and Latin America.

It was an opportunity to present the most relevant trends and opportunities for collaboration in Latin America, positioning the region as a strategic destination for impact investment. With the participation of more than 60 international experts and the support of 12 partner organizations, concrete investment opportunities were discussed, gaps were identified and innovative financial solutions such as blended finance were highlighted.

Latimpacto represented the network as a key voice to position Latin America and the Caribbean as a resilient region, rich in biodiversity, innovation and talent. Its participation was fundamental to transmit a clear message: Latin America is ready to receive large-scale impact investment, with robust structures, concrete opportunities and tangible success stories.

During her speech, Carolina Suárez, CEO of Latimpacto, presented the role of this network of actors committed to mobilizing impact capital in the region, highlighting how its more than 220 members are actively working in more than 16 countries across the capital continuum to generate social and environmental transformations.

One of the highlights of the Roadshow was the presentation of the LAC Facility for Financing Resilient Human Developmenta regional platform that seeks to mobilize capital for initiatives that strengthen social, economic and environmental resilience in Latin America. This Facility integrates sustainable bonds, blended finance structures and strategic projects ranging from inclusive digital infrastructure to nature-based solutions. Its multi-sectoral approach and ability to articulate efforts between governments, the private sector and international cooperation make it a key tool for closing structural gaps and scaling innovative solutions in the region. This instrument makes it possible to show how Latin America can lead a transformative agenda with the support of impact capital.

One of the key milestones of the Roadshow was the formalization between Latimpacto and Tameo of the collaboration to carry out a pioneering research on private impact investment funds in Latin America (PAIF Report 2026). The purpose of this alliance is to generate data transparency, make visible the financial and impact performance of funds in the region, and better position Latin America in the eyes of global institutional investors.

As part of the Roadshow, Latimpacto published the article "From Risk to Resilience: Why Latin America is Primed for European Investors". in ImpactAlpha, reaffirming the investment thesis in the region with data, compelling arguments and concrete cases. In the article, Latimpacto emphasizes the urgency of closing the SDG financing gap (estimated at $650 billion annually in the region), and demonstrates how the private sector can play a central role in this task.
