Juanita Núñez, Country Director, Colombia, participated in the Launch of the
Habitat Impact Investment Study, led by our Founding Member Fundación
Santo Domingo, NAB Colombia and GSG. In the event was discussed the
role of the impact investment in the infrastructure and housing development.
This study was thought out and discussed in a connection space of our
Conference Impact Minds: Standing Together 2022. We are glad to connect
purposes to maximize the impact.
Juanita Núñez, our Corporate Impact Initiative Coordinator, participated in the
Launch of the Habitat Impact Investment Study, led by our Founding Member
Fundación Santo Domingo. In the event was discussed the role of the impact
investment in the infrastructure and housing development.
During the event, Juanita participated in the panel ‘Financing for the
infrastructure development’, where pointed out the need to build ecosystems
instead of houses, to think in innovative financial instruments that include
non-traditional actors and to coordinate efforts to strengthen confidence.
For Latimpacto is prior to foster innovation in the legal and financial
instruments to get higher social impact, “The variety of innovative finance
tools allow us think outside the box to improve the traditional Investment
system. Infrastructure and habitat issues shouldnt be an only public matter
and a good way to contribute is to learn about and appropriate these
investment models”, Juanita said.
