Latimpacto participated in the Foro Latinoamericano de Inversión de Impacto (FLII),
where our CEO, Carolina Suárez led the panel ‘Corporate Impact: from the ESG to
impact investing and philanthropy- a challenge in coherence’, alongside with
speakers from our members Fundación Bolívar Davivienda, Fundación Coca Cola
and Fundación Coppel.
Besides discussing the link between corporate philanthropy, social investment and
the ESG strategies, the conversation addressed speakers’ experiences and learnings
about best practices and main ways to deep dive the relationship between corporates
and Corporate Impact Vehicles.

“Increasingly, corporates are looking to be more strategic with their investments in
order to generate more impact, through an ESG integral approach. Therefore, there
isn’t doubt cooperative impact actors are key in the Impact and Philanthropy
Ecosystem” Maria Carolina Suárez stated.
With our Corporative Impact Initiative we are responding to the needs of regional
actors and learning about successful experiences from our sister networks in Asia,
Europe. We are promoting in our members effective approaches to foster social
impact through corporate resources.
