She holds a degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Master's degree in Politics and Public Policy from Macquarie University, Australia. She has a 13-year track record in the public and impact sector, promoting and developing new tools and ways of making public policy and integrating the visions, resources and needs of different sectors. She lives in Mexico City. She speaks English, Spanish and some Italian.

Itzi, as her friends and colleagues call her, always seeks balance in her projects: she gives her all, without neglecting her well-being.

She doesn't need much to be happy, she is grateful to be able to wake up, see the sun and take a walk in nature with her husband and son. She loves to exercise and has run 4 marathons, including the 100k walk in Sydney, Australia.

She feels fortunate to recognize herself as half Mexican and half Italian. She is driven by her vocation to serve and to contribute her grain of sand to the construction of a better world.
